New GL Experience
INTRODUCTION
New GL is a digital transformation project for a retail leader, covering all experience touchpoints: 14,000 employees, 280 stores, and 4.6M unique website visitors per month.

CONTEXT
The project kicked off by assembling 18 feature teams within Galeries Lafayette’s Digital Factory. Integrated into the Core Team for three months of two-week sprints, we focused on refining key screens: Home, Collections, and Editorial.

PROCESS
Working with UX designers, product owners, and scrum masters, my objective was to explore different art directions for information layout and to create meaningful, in-context micro-interactions across multiple screen sizes.



OUTCOMES
Together with the Creative Director and the Brand Director, we explored various creative outputs, experimenting with layout, color, and content variations. Once we narrowed down a few directions, we aligned and developed interactive prototypes.?
Feedback from the front-end team helped me assess the cost of our design decisions, giving me a clear understanding of the time and effort required for implementation within the design system. This provided clarity on where to make concessions on design aspects we felt less strongly about, balancing creative ambition with implementation effort.
